A very classy compact SUV is the Hyundai Tucson. It is a fairly new vehicle, introduced in 2004. It was created to help meet the demand from consumers that do like the SUV concept, they just don’t need a huge vehicle. This SUV has seating for up to five passengers. It exceeds safety requirements. It is attractive both inside and out, and the price is very reasonable compared to other similar vehicles in this category.
There are several trim packages offered with the Hyundai Tucson. There are different wheels and rims that a customer can pick from. There are some optional upgrades for the seat materials and other concepts inside too. The choice for surround sound, a built in navigation program, and more are all available.
In 2005, a test vehicle model was offered, the Hyundai FCEV (Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle). It did well in testing capacities but didn’t take off overall. They only offered 200 units of it and they are all almost still being used on the road today. This shows that they are efficient but there just wasn’t enough demand for them. One day they may introduce a hybrid alternative.
Since 2009, the Hyundai Tucson has gotten excellent ratings in the areas of safety. They continue to go above and beyond what is required to help ensure that all passengers are as safe as possible. There is more cargo space in the rear of this compact SUV than some of the competitors. That is something that many consumers really appreciate.
