MGB Vehicles have gone through a strong increase in their selling price recently. There has been a considerable inflation in the selling prices for this model.
The retail prices for MGB cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. In October the price for a car is AED 58,110 increasing till AED 61,737 in November. During the following two months (December, January) the average selling price rose somewhat going from AED 59,923.5 to AED 66,851.5. The average price has had spectacular rise of 20 % with an average price of AED 63,387.5 during the previous 4 months and AED 76,150 during the most recent months in February and March.
The average price for MGB has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2014 and 2020, the average price is AED 28,832.67. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2014 (AED 11,667) moving up till (AED 40,111)in 2020. During the next two years (2021, 2022) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 83 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have experienced a depreciation of -9 % compared to the average prices for the previous 4 years. This has been obtained from prices from the the previous four years in a previous sample (AED 48,475.5) and the the last two years analyzed (2023, 2024) with a price of AED 44,270.

They are 75 % more affordable than the average price (AED 77,263). Next with a price of AED 29,577 and a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" we would see the following vehicles. It is 8% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "less than 10,000" priced at AED 68,115.
