The GMC Yukon is a very large SUV with seating for up to 9 passengers in the 3 row seating. It is very similar to the Chevrolet Tahoe. While the vehicle does take up lots of fuel and it is a big machine, it does well for a large family. It also does well in the transportation business and for company transports.
The vehicle was introduced in 1982, and has done well in spite of the higher fuel costs that we incur at the pumps today. The vehicle has gone through major changes that allow it to be more consumer friendly. The body has more definition and curves to make it very appealing. It also has lots of storage inside to make it a useful vehicle for daily use and for long travels.
Some large sized vehicles can be very sluggish, but that isn’t the case with the GMC Yukon. It accelerates well and it does a great job when it comes to passing. All models feature a V8 engine. There are interior upgrades offered including a separate rear stereo and DVD system. A luxury model of the GMC Yukon is also offered. This is the Denali.
There are several safety features that are optional for the GMC Yukon. They include back up sensors and blind spot sensors. There is also the back up camera which is a great addition if the vehicle will be used for towing. There are reports that the GMC Yukon will have plenty of interior and exterior changes for the 2015 model.
