Audi A8

The Audi A8 is a luxury sedan that was introduced in 1994. The vehicle has plenty to offer and it is now in the third generation. Consumers enjoy being able to have a vehicle that is powerful, comfortable, safe, and that allows them to choose from either front or all wheel drive. There are versions offered with a long or short wheelbase. All of this adds up to consumers getting a luxury car that is exactly what they want.

History was made with the Audi A8 as it was the first mass production of any vehicle that featured an aluminum chassis. This made the vehicle lighter but it also allowed it to have more power and better overall handling. Some consumers are disappointed the vehicle isn’t offered as a coupe. However, Audi did make plans for it in 1997 and they did make one unit in 2002. No one is really sure why the vehicle hasn’t been produced and marketed.

In 2010, a hybrid model was offered for the Audi A8. An upgraded version with a more powerful engine was introduced in 2012.
