Chevrolet Vehicles have gone through a strong increase in their selling price recently. There has been a considerable inflation in the selling prices for this model.
The retail prices for Chevrolet cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. The average price in October was of AED 97,973. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at AED 94,400 during November. During the following two months (December, January) the average selling price experienced a noticeable rise, going up 38 % from AED 96,186.5 to AED 132,404.5. The average price has had spectacular rise of 40 % with an average price of AED 114,295.5 during the previous 4 months and AED 159,511.5 during the most recent months in February and March.
The average price for Chevrolet has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2006 and 2020, the average price is AED 27,436.4. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2006 (AED 14,500) moving up till (AED 50,769)in 2020. During the next two years (2021, 2022) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 222 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have experienced a depreciation of -7 % compared to the average prices for the previous 4 years. This has been obtained from prices from the the previous four years in a previous sample (AED 82,297.5) and the the last two years analyzed (2023, 2024) with a price of AED 76,217.
